Bermaine was definitely a step up for deontay but I still think deontays power is no joke and the way stiverne was able to stand in round 7 after being wobbled by a big right hand and then also getting smashed by hooks while he was exchanging back and was still standing and talking back. Is deontays power overrated or does this guy just have a granite chin and is it up there with chuvalo, holyfield etc?

Whilst I don't think Wilders power is quite what his record might indicate or how people go on, Stiverne clearly has a very good chin.

You can't put it up there with the likes of Holyfield, Chuvalo, McCall etc who took murderous shots from fighters with far more proven power at world level.

Dudes got quite the beard. He eats huge shots from everybody he's in the ring with. Aereola and Wilder were tagging him at will because that's his style. He has a "catch and shoot" style like Malignaggi pointed out where he's most dangerous when he's hurt because he shoots thunderous counters.
