Respect to you pugilist for the reply

I wonder how well he fights going backwards

And yea he is so focused on manoeuvring you to launch his own attacks that he isn't wary on what is being fired at him.

He has one helluva chin though.

Stevens hit him with a flush left hook right hand combo and ggg smiled and kept coming

they put out a warning to all the fighters between 154-175 now its time to fight some elite guys in those weight classes...move up if the guys at 160 are ducking
Andrade petitioned to fight Korobov for the WBO title after Quillin dropped it, and then when his request was granted wouldn't fight because he wasn't making the 1.4 million Roc Nation was going to pay Quillin.

Andrade is full of ****. If he won't fight Matt Korobov for 1.4 million, why would he fight Golovkin? And why are you hyping Andrade? He's proven even less than Golovkin. Oh wait, it's extremely obvious why you're hyping Andrade.

Loeffler looked bad for sure, I'll give you that. It doesn't change the nature of the original statement, however.
Even though you're reading between the lines here, I can agree with that. There's a small chance that Lara and his team really wanted this fight, but I think it was most likely a publcity stunt to make Lara look like a boogeyman.

I doubt Golovkin was seeing Lara as a serious threat, therefore Tom Loeffler's reaction was very surprising.

          deal with it

fighters who have beaten better opposition, some of you guys chastise....the truth is the truth

GGG is 34...has over 30 fights and has not fought one truly elite fighter....160 is the weakest division between 140-175

As a boxing trainer here are his flaws......
1)his basic stance he has no defense for a consistent body attack, his elbows are too far from his body

          2) his jab is good but more of a range finder, he doesn't always step into it properly

          3) he is very good at cutting off the ring but he has not faced elite speed, defense or movement as a pro(Which is why some want to see him fight Ward)

          4) He takes one to give one and at the highest level that's the best recipe for a short stay there....sure he ate that arm punch right hand from Daniel Geale but how about clean right hands from Froch, Abraham, Ward, Kessler, and fighters that have been world class for a long time

          5) He parry's very well, especially the jab but with his low left hand he will be a sucker for the lead right at the elite level

6)his lack of head movement will be at his detriment if he thinks he will be able to walk and stalk....fights with good jabs, decent hand speed and combos will expose this
he's not 34. are you lying or just bad at reading floyd style?

highlights of two of the greatest 154 fighters ever...McCallum and Jackson...both took loses, won most but faced faaaaaaaaaaaaaar stiffer comp....IMO McCallum was one the greatest fighters that doesn't get his fair amount of respect and fan fare.....When I was a kid, I remember my dad and uncles saying the Fab 4-5 was avoiding him....McCallum won his first title around 84 I believe and fought @ 154-160 until the early 90's....He'd have beaten Hearns, and Duran IMO, Hagler and Leonard fights with him would have been epic!!!!!!

People act like Pac-Mayweather is the only big fight we missed...SMDH

MY BAD HE IS 32....still doesn't change the fact he has glaring technical flaws

I gave you what you asked for....a technical assessment

you are more worried about his age than actually going on youtube and analyzing the things I pointed out

no problem man, lets be for real here...he has faced decent punchers but no elite punchers

GGG is an elite puncher, he has the whole tool shed....he hasn't fought one yet

Stevens fight isn't a good indicator of how good his beard was, he has not faced any reputed punchers....There aren't many good punchers at 160 to access his chin close enough....Murray has no power, nor did Geale, Rubio never ko'd anyone worth much, Ouma was a guy who threw 100 punches a round, we will know about his chin if he faced stiff punchers like Lemieux @ 160, Froch, Abraham, etc

Loeffler is a weak link in the GGG chain, no doubt about it. He's been idling along, getting paid, doing the minimal and thinking the big PPV dates with big names are inevitable without laying any groundwork other than GGG knocking out the best opposition that will face him. I've said this to someone else before, who was arguing that Loeffler has put GGG in the perfect position now, but look how easily it would be for Floyd to snatch Cotto's "lineal" belt ahead of GGG if he wants to. Lol... Loeffler is a little league manager who will never be amongst the big boys.

if floyd beats cotto at middleweight that would be great for golovkin because then everyone will say floyd is ducking golovkin and his popularity would skyrocket. pretty soon floyd fans will be saying ggg has ouma problems or ggg isn't a big draw.
