Larry , are you for real ? i thought you had a common sense , but i see i shuold see you as another troll/fanboy , what Cotto has done @ MW ? won one fight against a shot martinez ? where are is title defenses ? where are the challanges ? oh , he doesnt have any and will soon vacate if he cant get Floyd to pay him enough to take the title from him, Cotto wont defend his title for a total of a year.
Also , would you mind stating if you think Cotto will win against GGG ? i just want to have it in written. because if you dont think so then this thread is a bait.

Who gives a shyt about better wins and lineal champs? what counts the most is head to head.. Nobody in the MW division stands a chance against golovkin, dude is a beast. If Golovkin was such a hypejob with a padded record, Cotto or Canelo would have fought him already. Everyone in boxing knows he's the real deal, cotto is not even a real MW and Canelo is terrified of moving up that's why his big ass has been fighting at a catchweight between jmw and mw. I guarantee that if GGG moves up tomorrow, Canelo is going to immediately fight for his vacant belt and weigh in at 160. lol
you can take head to head out of the equation through ducking. floyd has been doing it for years.

The fact that Martinez fought Cotto at 160 while for years wouldn't even look at GGG should tell you everything you need to know

Sergio's knees were being kept in tact by pritt stick and thread in that fight. I wouldn't be surprised if someone like Macklin would have beaten him that night. He pushed him quite close when he was 100%. Murray beat a better version of Sergio pretty convincingly in the fight prior. Geale might have even beaten that Sergio.

What's funny about this is NSB was begging Sergio to fight GGG and was *****ing every time Dibella made a statement about not wanting the fight. And this was AFTER he looked like **** against Murray.

If GGG demolished Sergio I'm sure these same people calling Martinez a cripple would have a different tune.

The answer to the thread question is no by the way. But that will change should he beat Murray.

What you're really asking Larry is would that version of Martinez have beaten everyone on Golovkin's current record.

I'll say that version of Martinez have beaten Proksa, Rosado, Ishida, Macklin*, Adama and probably Rubio.

                      * benefit of doubt since he did beat him

Not convinced that version of Martinez would have beaten Geale but he "lost" to Murray, so if Golovkin beats Murray prior to your May 2nd rematch, the value of the MW lineal title is going to seem hollow, it already does.
