I think we all came to the conclusion as in every thread that's made about 3G. That he's a complete monster and on his way to stardom, couldn't happen to a better person.

Pretty much trying to substantiate Floyd fighting cotto again as if he's anything now.

Dumb thread. This isn't the nba where you get to play everyone on the schedule. It's the f'd up world of boxing. GGG wanted Sergio for a long time and wasn't given that opportunity. GGG wants cotto now and probably won't be granted that opportunity. But it really doesn't take a genius to see that he would have destroyed both of them.
What point are you trying to make?
The measures that have been taken to avoid GGG make him more impressive than cottos win vs Martinez for sure.

Oh larry and his not so subtle ways of trying to justify Floyd Cotto 2. What a transparent, bumsniffing fanboy twat.

if you respect Hopkins 20 defenses at 160. you have too respect golovkin's defenses at 160 so far.

Hopkins was beating a whole bunch of fighters who were just guys as well.
he just had the luxury of two big name welterweights moving up and challenging him. Oscar and tito. without those two. there is nobody else that stands out in hopkin's 160 reign.

Great unbiased post man. Antwan Echols was the caliber of bhops opponents during that reign, not much different.

Floyd fans are too unintelligent to judge a fighter other than resume.

They can't watch a fighter to see how good he is.

His win over healthy top contender Geal was better than Cotto's win over crippled up shell Martinez who was so far gone he will never fight again. Cotto caught Martinez at the perfect time. Geal was and still is in his prime and would probably beat Cotto if they fought today.
