I don't think any version of Margarito beats Mayweather, he was too flat footed for Mayweather. Also Margarito was used as a Carrot on a Stick by Bob Arum to KEEP Mayweather at Top Rank

He did not start offering it until Mayweather starting talking about wanting to fight Oscar De La Hoya. Margrito was used to try and KEEP Mayweather at Top Rank. See the Pattern Here, he just did the same thing with Chavez Jr Last Year telling the public that he offered Chavez Jr the GGG fight or what ever

Even after he loss to Baldomir, Judah fighting Floyd was still a highly anticipated fight that everyone wanted to see. Also the contract was already signed.

A win over Margarito and Cotto at that time instead of his fake retirement would of been a great thing.

Exactly, I don't understand why Maynerds can't see this!

Marg was by that point the most physically dominant welterweight on the planet and Cotto was the division's best new star.

Floyd beating both those guys would have been better than Baldomir, Judah, Corley and Hatton.
