Al Haymon makes deal with B.E.T

outside of maybe 50k (im being generous here) hardcore boxing fans that will follow all of these shows, how is haymon going to attract 3 times the views to cover 3 times the air time needed to stay afloat? if he was that good of a salesman, he would have made his empire in music and not needed to jump over to boxing.
i really think he needs all the shows he is launching, to cover all of the salaries his boxers expect to be getting yearly. if even one of them crashes and burns, there will be a domino effect as dissatisfied fighters start to leave, which lowers the quality of available talent, which weakens the drawing power and revenue making ability, which leads to less money and more fighters leaving, and so on and so forth.
for this plan to work in the ufc model, haymon needs the recognized best fighters in every division, and the best opposition for these fighters, to fight under his banner. he doesnt have that in even 1 division.
i hope you dont confuse me being a realist with being a pessimist.Comment

As long as he gives us quality boxing matchups the way he is in March and April, I don't care if he puts fights on the Cartoon Network. Ask yourself the question, when was the last time GBP or Top Rank gave us two quality fights between highly ranked opponents in a year, let alone two months?Comment
