I'm sure he lifted weights when he was younger. Then his body just naturally took shape from then on though he must have already eaten good. He never put on bad food, and kept in shape. Though I generally believe it has to do with lifting weights at a young age. I see many young kids that would come into the boxing club I was in, and they were like 4-5 years old! They had no where else or nothing else to do, so they'd be there everyday lifting small weights. From there on, I guess the body just takes form.

do you notice how cyclists have abs and all they do is ride bikes i guess that goes with boxers too, since boxers have a lot of road training that ffects their physique and some boxers lift weight but not as much

alot has to do with genetics as well campare roy's physique to tarver's or shane's physique to vargas, i'm sure they all workout like savages but you have big diffrences in their physiques, i know guys who get ripped off 10 pushups ,then i know some who workout nonstop and just look solid but not ripped

Like Leff stated. It's a matter of Genetics....some people are muscular and some people aren't.

Look at Tito, then look at Lacy. You really think Lacy spends his life on the weight bench....not going about normal boxing routines? You think Tito doesn't do strength training excersises?

                Here's another case and point.

I bust my ass hitting the weights...and I could never put on muscle like my cousin...who in turn never lifted a weight in his damn life. I'm toned and lean...and am way stronger than he is. He's 5'11...a couple of inches shorter than me...but he looks like a damn mack truck, all lean muscle.

Come to think of it, if you look really really closely, most boxers don't seem P4P as ripped as most athletes in other sports. Football and basketball comes to mind, and we all know, football = weightlifting.
Weightlifting is not often encouraged in the sweet science. Some boxers have hurt their ability in the past by doing too much of it. Think of Fernando Vargas' (vs. De La Hoya) and Shane Mosley's (Mosley can reportedly bench press more than Joe Frazier could in his prime) chiseled physiques. Sure it gave them increased strength in the ring, but it hampered their flexibility/range of movement and fatigued them quicker.
Manny Pacquiao, can't seem to think of an explaination for him, but he has one freaky physique. He's just a train-aholic who won't quit.
