Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum is not backing away from applying the pressure on Floyd Mayweather Jr. to fight Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

On Saturday, Showtime Sports Head Stephen Espinoza denied Arum's claim that Mayweather is holding up the finalization of the fight. Arum says Mayweather is refusing to green light the terms. Espinoza claims the parties have not yet reached an agreement on the terms.

Arum is trying hard to shut down the fight , its a week before the end of the mth and Arum wants to dirty people up , why .

A scapegoat , why doesnt Bob present some proof instead of just his big mouth .

If Floyd doesnt sign and fights someone else, I think all the members on here should make our own statement and pledge not to buy that fight. Its a small act i know, but this site has a lot of fans on it and if we can all make sure Floyd doesnt get a cent off us then i think thats a positive thing. Ill Start a thread that can serve as a petition for it if it happens.

Easy choice for me as i have 0 interest in any floyd fight that doesnt involve manny.

Because what this man appears to be doing is basically killing the sport slowly with his own greed. He wants people to fork out for mismatches when the defining super fight of our generation is right in front of him. Its fcking disgraceful and i defended Floyd a lot over the years, he's making me feel like a fool right now.

When you are old and about to die. You want to be remembered for your accomplishments in life. Bob has brought as allot of good memories with all the super fights he has made including ali vs frazier.

others before they pass - away, Some even have statues to commemorate their achievements, to show what they have done in their lifetime and in their chosen profession.

Wether you hate Arum or not arum has contributed allot in boxing. He loves the sport.

Arum has done super fights including Ali Frazier. He has done them all. What better way to exit this lifetime than to give the fans one more super fight.

To me when you work, you become successful in what you do coz you love your job. Arum, wether you like it or hate him loves his job.

He wants this fight for money and his last swan song before he dies. He is a boxing fan like all of us. He wants this dance to happen.

And if their hate is real between floyd and him, More so, that he wants Pac to dish out the pain to Floyd.
