Ali has been proven to be the best in his era or arguably the best of all-time, Toney's considered one of the best in his respective era,
so shut the **** up and stop comparing two great fighters of different generations...

not to say that toney would have beaten Ali, but i do think it would have been a good fight. everyone has a bad day even Ali lost to L. Spinks

Well Toney wouldn't have chased Ali around the ring. I do wonder who's fight they'd fight toney's or ali's.

Toney would have to chase Ali because he spots reach, footwork/footspeed, and handspeed to the larger man. Ali would hang around on the outside, jab him, and move out of danger. When he connects with the jab, he'd add in the right hand and left hook. Toney would be forced to go after him or just get pot-shotted from the outside. Ali would be too smart to go after Toney when he flees to the ropes. Even in that case, rather than going to fight at close quarters, he'd lay back and jab. Ali was content to sit back and score points with the judges if need be. He'd learn right away that Toney was a great inside fighter but relatively weak on the outside (at least against taller natural heavyweights). Ali would not get suckered in by Toney.

Ali's just another bum and Fatboy would knock him out like he does every one. The MAN is keeping Fatboy from getting his crack at Ali!

That's hilarious. Toney would have NO chance in hell of beating any Ali from 1962-1978. Ali wins 10 out of 10 of those fights.

Lennox Lewis, on the other hand, would have beaten Ali, Foreman and Frazier all in their primes.
