No, you have no idea how Crawford would look at 147. Rios would have whipped the crap out of Breidis Prescott at 140 way back when too.

While ignoring the point of the post. Crawford beats Bum Bum's ass.

The hate for Cotto is getting stronger by the day.

I can make a reasonable expectation with his frame that he could adjust to weight well enough to beat the WW Rios I've seen. Just because he's never fought at the weight doesn't mean we can't think he wins.

Rios probably would have stopped Prescott faster in his 140 prime. Not the point. He doesn't beat Crawford at either weight right now.

It is but it is not unwarranted.

Smart money is on Rios at 147.

We don't even know if Crawford can beat anybody good at 140.

              Crawford's a beast at 135 but 147 is a whole different animal.

Are we really mad at him for waiting to see if Mayweather-Pacquiao falls through? He fights Floyd and Canelo fights Kirkland, so Cotto is the one ducking?

crawford is already a ww, he was 153 lbs on fight night vs gamboa, and we saw a dwarf rock him several times. i doubt he will have an easy time above 135 lbs

I just don't think Rios has that much left either, just more than Alvarado did on this night. If he does have something left in the tank and Crawford shows a possible ***** in the armor, power doesn't come up in weight or can't take a bigger man's shot as well.

I think the best possible fight for Rios is Ruslan or Matthysse. They'll stay in his wheelhouse and he's got the size and chin on both of them.

Can't wait till Crawford moves up to 140. He has potential.
