Arum IS telling the truth. The reason Espinoza is saying this is, not to provide cover for Floyd to duck the fight.

Floyd has decided he has no choice but to take the fight, and you know he is going to be the first person to announce it on Superbowl week. He always wants to control the story.

But, obviously he doesn't want the story to be, " Floyd finally signs the contract after unrelenting pressure." So obviously they are going to say they are still trying to hammer things out.

I am pretty sure Pac is a million times more honest than damned Espinoza. Crazy anyone could possibly take Espinozas word over Pacquiao.

i cant see that happening. they would be throwing good money after bad money. moonves is a successful business man, he knows reinvesting in a losing proposition is ******. at this point, all he wants is a return on his investment... cotto is not going to give him that.

im asking only because we dont really know the specifics on his contract. if showtime really lost money on floyd and they cannot force him contractually to fight pacquiao (the fight they will get their money back or some profit), maybe moonves would rather showtime takes the hit, keep it private, and not have a fight where people can keep saying hbo the best showtime sucks. showtime supported a guy claiming tbe that a hbo fighter beat. its pr battle between networks. im not saying any of this is true, but wouldnt this be the type of **** that showtime would think about?

That's what I say, this fight isn't happening because of the way Floyd feels about a promoter. Sh.it, fighters in the past hated promoters like Don King and Arum but didn't care and still fought there opponent.

Also, a true business deal is not negotiated publicly. You still seem unable to grasp that. Your desire for that is ridiculous.
