It's time. He knows if Pac wins this can be a trilogy. More money for everyone. In hundreds of millions.

So the angle he doesn't want is bs. He has gone through different channels including top dog CBS moonves to make this happen.

    This is all on Floyd.
your forgetting he has deal with the venetian for 4 manny fights if ur math is correct then that would give every reason to ruin floyd pac

What Arum has said should be good news but you Floyd fans think its a bad thing for some reason. If you saw Arum's latest interviews, they were countered and Arum still accepted.

Now does that mean that every single thing is agreed upon? Maybe not since Floyd can also kill it if he doesn't like the Networks deal. So Floyd can pull a roadblock at any time he feels like even if Manny/Arum have agreed to everything.

Final point, is whatever you mentioned, you are speculating that it was not discussed or agreed upon. Arum did mention some details but probably didn't want to go too far since nothing is final until all sides agree.
Do you honestly believe that Mayweather offered Top Rank a 60/40 split, Pacquiao's choice of gloves, and Top Rank as a co-promoter of the event, among other terms? Just think about that for a moment.

Floyd hates the man's guts, has gone out of his way to disparage the man at near every turn, and is on record as wanting to never put another wooden nickel in Arum's pocket off of his name, yet he's going to offer such amenable terms? GTFOH.

Arum has put forward the terms that he wants, simple as that; while HBO and Showtime/CBS and Haymon are in a room, hammering out a deal, Arum is trying to spin public perception and push the terms in his direction.

If the goal is to have Top Rank formally co-promote the fight, rather than just take a fee like Arum did to Star Boxing for Chris Algieri, you better believe that Floyd probably demanded 75/25; If Top Rank was happy with a fee, the talks probably started at 67/33, ending up nowhere near the 60/40 that Arum is pushing.

If i were to bet my life, this hold up is still over money. They can use networks as excuses all they want, but the clue is in Mayweather hinting at Pac's low PPV sales when asked about the ongoing negotiation. Another thing is that Arum seems to be agreeing to old offers made in previous negotiations. That's 60/40 split seems to be what Arum is willing to settle on or pushing for 55/45, but i doubt with greed and an ego big as Floyd's, Floyd will want it the split that close. I see Floyd wanting 65/35 or pushing for 70/30. I remember Pac team once was very interested in Pac's pull at the table and mirrored that split in favor of Pac, when they thought Pac was on top. It is here in this article below.

This spell bad news for us fans, because we are going against greed and ego until anything we have seen in the boxingscene world before. Arum and Floyd are the same mofos. Floyd reminds of that King Dwarf in "The five armies". Dude see all that money and all of sudden doesn't want to share, and Arum hears about all that money and want as much as possible. Wish someone could tell them there is enough to go around and, if they earned it, they can make more in the rubber match.
Kind of how I think the talks are going, especially once CBS/Showtime and HBO took the lead in the talks; like any rational joint venture between two en******, CBS likely pushed to have the books opened up, with the relative business done between the two setting the parameters for talks of revenue split.

Arum knows that that would be bad for him, and Pacquiao hasn't looked on form for some time now, negating the confidence in looking towards a potential rubber match.

if 65/35 ends up getting offered by Floyd, Arum has no real grounds to walk away, especially after all of that talk he had Arum do.

It just doesn't make any sense. If Arum is a businessman, and wants to make as much money as possible, he knows that Floyd vs Pacquiao would earn him more than any other single fight and since Manny and Floyd are getting older and closer to retirement, especially Floyd, it would only make sense from a financial point of view to get the fight made. Arum should know quite well, as a boxing promoter, that this would be the fight that would guarantee a massive payday. Pacquiao doesn't have an 0 to protect. I still haven't heard the explanation as to why Arum would hold up this fight. It seems more realistic that Mayweather is responsible since he doesn't want to put his 0 in jeopardy, he had a previous promotional relationship with Arum that soured and doesn't want to give Pacquiao the satisfaction of a great payday since he doesn't need the money. It seems like a combination of these factors to me anyway.
            Simple.

Manny Pacquiao is a definitive defeat (getting knocked out or losing 10-2) away from no longer being a viable fighter; US interest in watching Pacquiao fight would collapse even further, and a I doubt that the Macau audience would have much interest either, let alone Pacquiao being willing to take significantly less money to keep fighting.

This is Arum's cash-out fight on Pacquiao, so he's clawing for every percentage he can get.
