Moonves (head of CBS, parent company of Showtime) and the head of HBO have yet to say anything. The MGM Grand, the venue apparently agreed to to host the fight, hasn't mentioned anything. Stephen Espinoza, EVP of Showtime and the man responsible for Showtime's sports programming, has openly stated that there is no contract for either party to sign.
For all of the talk of everything having been agreed to, Arum has never actually put forward a single actual term that he's agreed to. Ariza was a little tongue-in-cheek about it, but is Pacquiao fighting out of the red corner or the blue corner?
Even beyond the PPV split, how Floyd Mayweather handles the live gate is drastically different from how most other people handle live gates. Did Arum agree to not get anything from the live gate (Floyd rents the venue from the MGM, selling tickets/concessions under his own company)?
For term after term, the information put forward has been so vague and broad stroke, that Arum agreeing to terms is nonsensical. Is Arum really going to walk away from his beer sponsor without issue? lol

Floyd is unable to say anything because head of Showtime and HBO know the truth and will call out Floyd if he lies and expose him.

But he is doing it on a daily basis.
When reporters are telling you that:
a) no contract exists
b) networks are still negotiating amongst themselves
You know Arum is full of it.
Theres 2 possibilities here. Arum is trying to drum up public pressure because he genuinely feels like Floyd will turn down the deal. Or Arum knows the fight is happening and he has decided to drag Floyd's name through the mud to get his pound of flesh come hell or high water.

I would just say this statement reads like anyone saying the words "Trust me".
Now I get why Arum is doing it they are squeezing him hard and he certainly doesn't like it.
I still believe that they work it out though and split up the giant pile of money. That said you can't count out them setting it on fire either, they have messed around too much to rule that out. I would need to see them actually walk away from all that money though, because I don't think there is any tomorrow on this amount for the fight.

Until then I'm going to enjoy the fights we have rather than whine and ***** about it.

What Arum has said should be good news but you Floyd fans think its a bad thing for some reason. If you saw Arum's latest interviews, they were countered and Arum still accepted.
Now does that mean that every single thing is agreed upon? Maybe not since Floyd can also kill it if he doesn't like the Networks deal. So Floyd can pull a roadblock at any time he feels like even if Manny/Arum have agreed to everything.
Final point, is whatever you mentioned, you are speculating that it was not discussed or agreed upon. Arum did mention some details but probably didn't want to go too far since nothing is final until all sides agree.

Two person to be blame in this are Bob and Floyd. Not that Pac is absolved of any blame, but his child-like attitude can be forgiven as naivety. Floyd and Arum are two greedy bastards who believe they can take money to their grave.
If i were to bet my life, this hold up is still over money. They can use networks as excuses all they want, but the clue is in Mayweather hinting at Pac's low PPV sales when asked about the ongoing negotiation. Another thing is that Arum seems to be agreeing to old offers made in previous negotiations. That's 60/40 split seems to be what Arum is willing to settle on or pushing for 55/45, but i doubt with greed and an ego big as Floyd's, Floyd will want it the split that close. I see Floyd wanting 65/35 or pushing for 70/30. I remember Pac team once was very interested in Pac's pull at the table and mirrored that split in favor of Pac, when they thought Pac was on top. It is here in this article below.

This spell bad news for us fans, because we are going against greed and ego until anything we have seen in the boxingscene world before. Arum and Floyd are the same mofos. Floyd reminds of that King Dwarf in "The five armies". Dude see all that money and all of sudden doesn't want to share, and Arum hears about all that money and want as much as possible. Wish someone could tell them there is enough to go around and, if they earned it, they can make more in the rubber match.
