Comments Thread For: Khan on Pacquiao: If No Floyd, Why Not Fight Each Other?

LONDON - British welterweight Amir Khan revealed a fight against Manny Pacquiao could be on the cards after a meeting with his former sparring partner on Friday.

Khan trained alongside Pacquiao for several years under his old mentor Freddie Roach and had previously maintained they would never fight.

But, despite their warm relationship, both men are now open to a bout following their get-together at the Fitzroy Lodge boxing club in London.

Actually agree with this. Makes too much sense. Everything would fall into place, Canelo-Kirkland, Floyd-Cotto, Khan-Manny, and with Lucas vs Ruslan on the way 2015 is looking sick!

Only Bob ****** Arum wants to see Jesse Vargas on the same continent as Manny.

The thing that makes the most sense of all that you said is still

Floyd vs Pac fight. It's the fight that only comes ones in a blue moon. and its more than 2 decades and counting now. Our super fight that we all held hostage by Floyd.

How rare is it that the number 1 and 2 are in the same division. This is the best you can ever squeeze out of boxing.

manny would get beat sorta like the morales fight, but khan would look much faster than morales did...except for this one itsy bitsy problem...khan doesnt share morales's chin..not even half of it..my bet would be khan by decision hedged with manny by stoppage in the 6th

That makes absolutely no sense. So if there isnt a mayweather fight, its the end of Pacquiao? Screw mayweather, and let him keep running. Let PAC keep fighting people who actually want to fight.

danny garcia has better resume and had a belt than khan...that makes him viable should chickenfloyd ducks pacquiao again..but if garcia is not available, i hope manny takes khan and shut him for good...

but please bob, stop floating vargas...

I'd lean more towards Manny by stoppage. Khans fast, but he throws basic combinations,so he can be timed. If he gets into a firefight with Manny,he gets sparked like in the 2nd and 3rd Morales fight.
