Matthysse-Provodnikov being finalized for March 28th

Nice!! Provo is a tough dude, but his face melts by looking at the sun. He's been in with a lot of light punchers as well. Will be interesting to see how long his face holds up to Matthysse and if he can take his shots.

I always wonder why people have such tunnel vision when analyzing fights (bias probably...). That would explain the terrible prediction call records on everyone including the writing staff here.:lol:

That's a good assessment of the fight from a point of view of Provodnikov being carried into the ring hogtied to a post. Matthyse also hasn't been in against many punchers (Molina's power is overrated and still dropped him) and it's not like his chin is cast in iron. And while Matthyse could outbox him like many others have, I don't Matthyse is fast or good enough of a boxer to beat Ruslan up without taken any return fire. I think the fight is more even than many here seem to think.

I agree as I've told people on here that ruslan might have a better chance vs Lucas than Danny in a rematch
