WBC welterweight silver champion Amir Khan has been mentioned as a possible opponent for Manny Pacquiao’s next fight - in the event the planned May 2 showdown with undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. does not push through.

While Pacquiao had lunch on Thursday with Prince Harry, Khan recently met with Prince Harry’s father, the Prince of Wales, but while the two discussed the injuries they sustained in their respective sports – the Prince of Wales in polo and Khan in boxing --there was no talk about a possible Pacquiao-Khan title fight.

If Pac vs. Floyd can't happen which looks to be the case so far I would like this matchup. I think Pac would win but it would be interesting to see how he deals with Khan's handspeed for the first few rounds.
