    Truth is....Arum is lying

According to Showtime Sports Executive Vice President and General Manager Stephen Espinoza, discussions are still ongoing and no contracts have been drafted for the long-awaited mega-fight between undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather and 8-division world champion Manny Pacquiao. The news comes on the heels of statements made by both Bob Arum and Michael Koncz suggesting that all parties have agreed to terms, Pacquiao has already signed a contract, and they're just waiting on Mayweather to sign his end of the deal.

For the past week, Arum, Koncz and Pacquiao have informed anyone and everyone within earshot that they have agreed to all terms and "signed off" on their end of the deal. YouTube videos seem to be popping up daily showing Koncz, Arum and Pacquiao all sending the same message: sign the contract! In one interview, Koncz suggested that "in principle, there is a contract signed by Manny." In another interview, Arum went so far as to say, "We're all done. We've signed everything. We've agreed on all the terms. As far as we know, we've been told by the highest authority that Mayweather's people have agreed, the networks have agreed, but like they say, you can't do a play about Hamlet without Hamlet, and Hamlet, meaning Mayweather, has not yet signed on."

In the early hours of the morning, however, Espinoza took to Twitter to refute the claims made by all three men. When asked point blank by one of his followers why Mayweather has yet to sign, Espinoza replied, "Signing what? No contract has been drafted yet." As others began sharing some of the YouTube videos with him, Espinoza added, "What the hell is everyone signing???" He also explained that negotiations were still ongoing, contradicting statements made by Arum suggesting that everything is done. It seems as though yesterday, someone was lying and today, someone is telling the truth

can floyd "break away" from his showtime contract like the floyd fans stated?

Is there another tv network that can get the fight on ppv besides showtime and hbo?

can floyd go to the showtime execs and tell them to stop f^ckin around and get this sh^t done?

Simple questions... a simple yes or no answers.

Let us be 100% clear here: Showtime and HBO are not holding up this fight. If Mayweather said, "Yes, I want this fight," it would go off on May 2nd, barring injury. The obstacle is Floyd Mayweather. For whatever reason, he does not want this fight. Read Dan Rafael's chat from today. He says as much. I don't know why Floyd doesn't want it--it would be a career payday by a long margin--but he certainly does not want it now. His latest line is that he won't do it if Arum is involved. Really? You should read Rafael's take on that as well.

Like I said, that whole showtime/hbo thing is just another excuse.... and what are we "waiting on" right now??? the showtime/hbo to get "made" lol if he really wanted to fight.... the fight would be signed sealed and delivered.
In other words you just talking to be talking. It doesn't matter what the fans or haters or neutral people say cause they are speaking opinions not facts.

Why don't you show proof that Floyd can just up and leave his showtime contract since you one of the people saying he using the showtime/hbo deal as a way to duck the fight?

No you need to try again I said Mayweather Promotions was the lead promoter not that GB wasn't involved.

So you want to ignore the fact that there is no contract drawn up?

I think Floyd should just write "CONTRAK" on a napkin and sign in. It would certainly look legitimate enough to pass the scrutiny of the discerning super sleuths around here.

Dont be naive. The head of CBS is directly involved and he isnt going to let something insignificant get in the way of making the fight. So, no Mayweather telling SHO to get it together isnt going to magically make them come to an agreement.
