I wonder whether corruption is rife in testing agencies. It's very peculiar that a fighter would only go through his local "tried and tested" agency (pun intended).

Nothing is beyond corruption, but most anti-doping organisations are pretty clean. The few that are corrupt, usually are from poor countries.

i think just to **** on pascal, kovalev should offer to pay for both their tests with vada. it is 16k yes, but that 16k probably will prevent this **** from happening in the future. anyone that he negotiates with will know that vada is his goto testing choice so that if they only want usada or some other independent, they might be deterred from asking otherwise they might be the one put on spotlight.

Honestly, he should've offered to pay for it from the start. But yeah, would be kinda awesome if Kovalev did that, offering to pay for both their VADA tests.

kovalev doesn't need to do or say or pay for anything, pascal brought up the whole thing, hence why he looks so silly for backtracking

yes i agree to that but after all thats been said and done if he just does nothing some one will still always say so he punked him back but didnt take the test. he dont have to do anything but ped testing has shown to haunt boxers needlessly.
if you have a son and a certificate that says 100percent dna match, its more awesome than without the certificate.
