But, I can see Oscar coming out & fighting with the overly tentatitve & always pussified type of approach he offers in the majority of his bigger fights.
Oscar is finished as a top contendor. He has slowed down with the weight increase and has not increased in power, as he should have.

He should hang up his gloves before some damage is done. Macho, ego bull****!

Is De La Hoya finished, who do you think would win this fight?
ODLH rolled over guys physically smaller than him. The version that destroys arturo gatti would be too much for PBF IMO.

        BUT

Oscar's performance as of late clearly shows that he's on the downward path of his career. If the fight happens at 140 Mayweather by UD, but at 147 Oscar might have a chance but if its really close judges will give it to floyd. (e.g Mosley II ).

        mayweather by thin decision....

DLH would destroy PBF at 147 lbs. Why are we even discussing this?

What makes you so sure? Dela Hoya has slowed down he is older and pbf is just peaking.

I wouldn't know whether PBF is peaking or not. Corley and Bruseles are not championship quality opponents. And then again neither is Gatti. DLH is up way too far in weight and in case you missed out he won more rounds against Hopkins than Trinidad did.

Yeah but he lasted 4 rounds less.

Im not saying PBF will surely beat DLH or he's favored to win but he's chance is greater than what you're insinuating.

The last time PBF's power was a serious threat was at 130. PBF has a significant size and power disadvantage against frickin' Arturo Gatti and Diego Coralles. Imagine how big of a despairity it would be with DLH. It would be like man against child. Not to mention that DLH is a skilled, athletic, experienced, and tough boxer in his own right regardless of size, who has tasted the power of the big boys, and believe it or not, that kind of stuff toughens you up mentally. DLH weathered the deadly barrage of a roided' up Fernando Vargas to knock him out....Mayweather cannot hurt DLH. DLH, on the other hand, can take Mayweather's head off.

DLH by decapitation in rounds 8 or 9

I believe that the new DLH will be less athletic, less reckless, but much tougher, much smarter, much stronger, and much more experienced.

I don't think PBF could and would slug it out with DLH, so it will be a "catch me if you can" defensive game for Floyd, with DLH having also the height advantage. But if DLH catches him, it would be over by KO. If not and he counters effectively, PBF by SD. Just my opinion.
