I have been saying Cotto-Mayeather is likely for weeks now. It's a pretty safe high paying fight for both men. Mayweather isn't sure he can beat Manny but he knows he can beat Cotto because he already did. This way Mayweather can win the worthless lineal world middleweight title. Cotto was at high risk to get KOed by Canelo but he can fight Mayweather for more money and almost no risk of getting knocked out.
