Comments Thread For: De La Hoya: I Want Pacquiao To Beat Mayweather

Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya is hoping that Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs) vs. Manny Pacquiao (57-5-2, 38KOs) comes off.

Discussions continue to make Mayweather vs. Pacquiao on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

If the fight happens, De La Hoya would have a conflict. The former champion turned promoter is going to stage Saul "Canelo" Alvarez's next fight on the same date, likely against James Kirkland at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. A Mayweather-Pacquiao fight would force De La Hoya to move that fight.

Dude obsessed with Floyd lol. Thats all he talk about now. Mad because he single handedly destroyed your roster on the bleuprint you gave them.

Of course, De La Hoya Fishnets, trying vicariously to live through other fighters, after you and your young red head boyfriend were humiliated and fell short. Tell us something we don't know.

Apart from that, Floyd and Manny need to stop the tomfoolery and make the fight, plain and simple.
