Great interview. I've been asking the very same question. What the hell is he doing, that's holding up the fight?? Where are the facts to that claim? Floyd's fans have no answer. They just spew "Bob Arum is holding up the fight", like a bunch a parrots.

It was just this week that Arum said he would go to the Philippines to meet with Pacquiao and present him with the names of four possible opponents for May or June: Miguel Cotto, Marquez, Lamont Peterson and Timothy Bradley Jr.

Arum figured Mayweather would be in jail and off the table. Now that Mayweather is available and seemingly would like to make the match, Arum suddenly isn't interested.

He used the lame excuse of the cut Pacquiao suffered against Marquez, saying he might not be ready for May. (I've never heard of a cut taking more than six months to heal.) However, earlier this week, when Arum thought Mayweather would be on ice behind bars, he said there was a good possibility Pacquiao would fight in May.

Moments after Mayweather was granted the continuance, Arum changed his tune.

I'm not saying that this is proof that he is holding up the fight this time, but it's not like it's out of the realm of possibility.

Arum is a shrewd business man. One thing I know is if you let somebody ruin your day, ITS YOUR FAULT.

This is for all of the people who are crying. Floyd is fighting cotto on may 2nd. It is a smarter buisness decision cause cotto holds the wbc middleweight title if floyds wins he will hold 3 different titles in 3 different weight classes at the same damn time. I'm sure will fight pac in sept and we don't have to worry about pac loosing his title he will just fight another c class jr welterweight like jesse vargas or some no name fighter from australia. lmao

Smarter business decision? The only thing a new belt does for Floyd's boxing business is it will charge him an extra $8000 per annum sanctioning fee.

The smarter business decision would be to help Manny Pacquiao make his career high pay day and avoid the sanctioning fees Cotto's belt would burden Mayweather Promotions with.
