Comments Thread for: Why Mayweather Hates Arum

I'm trying to understand why Floyd hates Arum so much he would make him his excuse this time and I found this article below. What if Arum called a bluff and said he would step aside, but have internal arrangements that he will still get the money as if he were the promoter. It could make sense since everyone already have their share of the pie and it would not change how much money will be distributed to all parties.

Boxing hall of fame voters should remember what is happening today and not insult the boxing fans when it is time to vote.

          Dude,

Arum made him what he is today. Arum groomed him to the top of boxing. Going up the ladder and as he went up his purse went up. You can even say Floyd is ungrateful for what bob father has done for him.

It's just an excuse to duck the riches fight in sports history. Floyd just loves to quack, haven't you realized that by now?

Arum just offered Floyd an opportunity to showcase his talent in a way which otherwise would have been more difficult to do with any other promoter at the time he signed with TR.

Floyd struggled with TR for real recognition particularly when Arum was grooming The Golden Boy to be the face of TR and boxing in general.

Fast forward to 2009 when Floyd calls his own shots, and he knows Arum is the obstacle keeping the May-Pac fight from happening with the stalling and game playing tactics in the media.

Floyd was making 8million a fight with Arum.. Then made 25,35,50 million a fight when he left Arum. How exaxtly did Arum make Floyd what he is today?

Yes. It was actually Oscar who made Floyd into the box office sensation his is today. But, it was Arum who made Oscar into a superstar. But none of that matters because it's really Floyd Sr. who made Floyd into the boxer grew to become.

Now, if you look at Floyd Sr, Arum and Oscar... one thing they all have in common is that Floyd has no problem throwing them under the bus regardless of the wonderful things they did for Floyd.
