Cotto used to kill himself to make 140, going into the Malinaggi fight they were worried it might get canceled. He then blamed his losses to Clottey & Pacquiao at having to make 147. So far Golovkin hasn't had any difficulty making 160.

Hagler, Monzon, Hopkins all made & stayed at 160 for the same time periods Golovkin's been doing so. Meanwhile Andre Ward's suddenly looking skinnier than ever, likely changing his lifestyle to ensure he can continue to make 168.

He is, he has spoken about it. Ward deliberately keeps his weight secret too. It's all a game. Stakes are high I suppose.
