Fight should be in UK no where else. It would be a dud and feel like a dud in Vegas where none of the fighters are from.

You're a moron. It's not Arum or Al's fault why they can't get Floyd to look for his balls. Al and Arum wants May vs Pac but if Al cant convince Floyd to sign off on the terms Floyd laid out, what else can he do?

Its crazy that instead of fans just debating who would win a fight, now fans debate whos the manager, promoter and network. Who sold more, whos more rich. Damn, this sport is beyond rotten. Regular fans turn into accountants, pocket watchers. this is depressing. This guys with Showtime, this guy HBO. Jesus. I love this sport but the politics ruin it. Pacquiao/Khan is a great fight, but Haymon in the mix means it wont happen.

Vargas fight was not a rumor, a rumor is like gossip/heresay that is not verified. Vargas being plan b was full blown mentioned by Bob Arum and Roach as Pacquiao's next fight. A rumor would be some twitter f@g saying they heard from sources that Pacquiao vs Vargas is next, and then it's not even true. Like Floyd Mayweather vs Matthew Hatton.

                What's SI?

He signed a 3 fight deal with Showtime after the Garcia loss. So Molina, Collazo and Alexander were the 3 fights I believe.

Time zone problem if the fight is in Britain? Easy fix, have it earlier then... Doesn't Klitscko fight in the same time zone as England and it's basically aired around 4pm EST time? While that would be an early PPV time, it's not too bad.

NEW YORK -- A simple review of the schedule indicates 2014 was a rough year for Showtime boxing. A stellar 2013 was followed by a steady stream of fights that

SI.com: But big fights have to come from somewhere, and most likely it’s going to come from someone that regularly fights on Showtime. Is that an unfair assessment?

SE: Not at all. It’s a logical statement. But I think it assumes that the deal is going to play out a certain way. Before we pronounce Al’s new business model as a good thing or a bad thing for Showtime, we should all see what it is. Al may suffer a little bit because he tends to be behind the scenes and allows his fighters to take center stage and people tend to assume the worst. But everyone should just wait. I think this will play out in a way that benefits [Showtime] and the sport.

SI.com: Who do you have exclusive contracts with?

                    SE: Floyd and Amir.

If Khan renewed with Showtime, I would imagine he would put an exception for a Pacquiao fight in the contract.
