Hopefully Koncz isn't totally full of **** and Vargas isn't an option.
I think Arum realizes how much money they are losing by feeding Manny all those mediocre fighters. So in order to make good profit they will do everything they can to make a Khan fight a reality. Since Arum is such an egotistical maniac (I think that's the reason why May hates him so much, they see themselves on each other) he won't admit his loses putting Manny in China's market, while fitting him against a none big names opponents.

I believe that at the end of the month and there still no progress on the ongoing negotiations, they will moved on and will start talking to Khans people.

People actually think anyone is ducking Khan.

      Khan's just not that good.

No way would Khan be frontrunner to face Manny, otherwise.

Floyd Cotto and Pac Khan are actually both very very good fights, just not the one people want. But from a hardcore boxing perspective, its not the history making fight we want, but they will be very good entertaining fights, perhaps more entertaining and tough for either opponent than Pac Floyd facing each other.

Honestly, I will never buy another Pacquiao or Mayweather fight if they don't face each other on their next fight. And the last thing I want to see is a fight with Amir "Loser" Khan.

If we continue to allow this to happen, it will get worse. Example: Gamboa vs. Lopez (never happened) and Rigondeaux vs. Santa Cruz (another Pacquiao vs. Mayweather).

Espinoza did mention that he had Khan and Floyd as exclusives after the Haymon/NBC deal was announced, so there may still be an issue there.

However, I will agree that Mayweather-Cotto II and Pacquiao-Khan are about the best plan Bs for boxing. I agree that Mayweather won the first fight clearly and it does not warrant a rematch, but there is a little intrigue in how good Cotto has looked since going to Roach.

It is ridiculous that we are never going to get Mayweather-Pacquiao, but alas, the world moves on.

Finally put the Vargas rumors to rest, good news. Amir Khan is a great plan b.

Pacquiao vs Canelo or Khan is better than Mayweather/Cotto, not too interested in that rematch.

Khan has looked great the last two fights though. He earned the right to Floyd or Pacquiao.

                      It was so fucking obvious.
