Ask yourself...why?
Just curious, Imdazed what is your ethnicity?

I believe the backlash this time, will be much worse. Especially if he fights Cotto. People are basically going to dismiss it as, a) he ducked Pacquiao, and b) he's already beaten Cotto.

Considering how close the Pacquiao fight appears/appeared to be this time, I think the backlash will be terrible.
I suspect the backlash won't be as harsh as u believe. If the paq fight doesn't happen may 2 I highly doudt most outside this forum will prefer may vs the likes of khan, mundane, gracia level fighter over cotto. Most watch may fights for the potential of him losing. They arent getting that with any other fighter aside from Cotto or paq. Anyone thjnking khan has a chance is in error. If may fights cotto in may I bet anything he fights paq in September.

I was shocked to say the least when i heard it didn't have one. I mean i am 100% sure. The only out they have is if floyd loses, but as long as he keeps winning they have no opt outs. I follow this stuff religiously, so i wouldn't be going on like this if i wasn't 100% certain.

Maybe Haymon advised Floyd not to fight Pacquiao so he can get an opt out and jump ship to NBC?

I know Dan Rafeal said it in one his chats. Was trying to find it. He also said in the video about pacquiao agreeing to terms that he doesn't think floyd will agree to fight because showtime is on the hook for 65 mill for opponents he can select..... Trying to find the video right now...

Edit: Just to add its the most ridiculous deal in history. Espinoza got played by Haymon yet again...
