As of right now, the only ones who really have the full story are people directly involved with their talks.Ariza had an interview about why Pac didn't accept the 40million offer before when there were in his recollection ppv upside. The thing is there were no upside, but a flat 40million. It wasn't a serious offer.
He didn't realize that Floyd was offering him a lowball with no ppv upside.
My point is this guy doesn't know what's going on. He assumes. And now licks Floyd's jock.
I'm not saying Ariza is involved, but he's probably as close as we're gonna get to a response from the Mayweather side besides maybe Espinoza. I try to filter through his biasness, but you never know who's lying and who isn't.Comment

First, Mayweather will write himself a check this week in the neighborhood of $25 million. This is similar, in concept, to the guaranteed money that other fighters receive from their promoters, but the check is much larger. You were saying again? He is even responsible for paying his opponent, in this case a business expense of at least $2 million.Comment

Bob Arum doesn't really want that fight for sure. But his biggest client (Pac) issued a direct order to his promoter (Arum/TR) to find ways to make the fight w/ Floyd happened no matter what. So both Pac & Arum conceded to Floyd's demands even if Arum is in frown by it. Therefore, Pac is a man, he has say & the ultimate decision maker,.. but Floyd is ducking again.Comment

Nothing points to the fight ever getting made. All excuses, excuses. What's Ariza got the slightest thing to do with all these negotiations? Ariza's Floyd's juice maker ain't he? He doesn't have an iota about what's going on in negotiations. He better shut his blabber mouth unless Floyd hired him to sow more of his excuses. It's time for Pac's team to move on. Floyd doesn't believe he can beat Pacquiao and so does Haymon. Period.Comment

Someone suggested, when the fight falls through we should see Mayweather's PPV numbers nosedive. He's smart enough to know that. We'll see.Comment
