Sultan isn't even on Rahman's level. But someone who doesn't watch boxing is not aware of that.

...A win over Rahman does not remove all doubt at all. Lets see him in the ring with Wlad, Brewster, or even Sultan. Hell, Sultan is a bigger, stronger, better defensive version of Jirov. We all saw what a war that fight was for Toney. If Rahman comes into the ring and looks like he cares, doesn't sleep walk through the fight while bringing his A game, and then Toney still whips him, then I will give Toney credit and I may change my mind about him not proving anything at heavyweight yet. On the other hand, a loss to Rahman will show that he should never have been taken seriously as a heavyweight.

Toney was the undisputed Cruiserwieght champion when he moved up. That immediatly gives a substantial ranking at a new weight class.

Stopping Holyfield speaks for itself, even at his age.

He beat Ruiz on 5 weeks notice with one arm after Ruiz gave trouble to countless fighters.

Booker and Guinn were durable Heavyweights and he dominated both of them with ease.

Do you have any idea how it sounds for you of all people to be talking about someone not having proved anything at Heavyweight? You're the grand daddy of the Vitali nut hugging club. You were ALL OVER his nuts, and he hadn't proved jack ****. It was all based on what you thought he was going to do.

The bottom line is that Toney's a top 5 Heavyweight right now anyway you try and spin it.

A win over Rahman puts him right near the top.

With the current state of the division, that's more than enough proof he's a top Heavyweight at current.

vitali had good skills but it doesn't compare to the skills a prime tyson had, I think vitali would have been overwhelmed and would possibly be scared to fight tyson.

...So does that mean that stopping Holy in five years would have the same effect?? Vitali beating legit heavvies for years and years far outweighs anything Toney has done in the division. Vitali recently beat Sanders(who just destroyed Wlad), Danny Williams(who has done nothing but win since then and is in line for a title shot soon), and Kirk (tons of talent) Johnson.
