But c'mon dude, you have to admit that video is a bit biased. He said that the only excuse coming out of Pac's side for the fight not happening was refusing to take 40 million. How do you just glance over his refusal of drug testing 2 weeks before the fight when 50/50 was offered?

Later he's arguing that Pac should be considered greater because of the way he defeated common boxers. He does realize that Pac is an offensive fighter and Mayweather is more of a defensive fighter, right?

This is very simple for me. Like the video said, they were both active at the same time for a considerable amount of time. What is the reason that you can't find a credible list that has Pac ahead of Mayweather currently?

But I know you are talking about historically, which is a bit tougher since many lists don't include active fighters. Of those I found, I haven't seen one that puts Pac ahead of Mayweather yet.
I agree, I watched the video again, and yes, very subjective. Taking Pacquiao's side throughout most of the movie. So disregard it anyway.

You are right, we shouldn't judge them like this before their career's are over, it's basically absurd, because if the fights happening tomorrow, it won't matter anyway.

I think many people have Pacquiao higher than Floyd, but I don't have the time to go through google seeking someone worth mentioning here. I would basically rate Pacquiao higher simply because I think he's been beating the tougher competition. I don't really care that much about loses, even though it's pretty damn impressive that Floyd is undefeated.

Both fighters are two of the greatest fighters, but the nuances of modern boxing makes it harder for us to find out.

    • I swear you people are JACK ASSES. Mayweather was just stating what all of us actually sane people know and that's Pacquiao doesn't have no say so in negotiations because Arum runs the show. Also, how is Mayweather saying this mean that he doesn't want to fight? He said he wants the fight and there are actually negotiations going on and everyone is working. How the hell does this equate to Mayweather is trying to duck the fight? If he would have said "I don't know nothing about any negotiations" then that's suspects but dude addressed it and even said he wants to fight. I swear Pacquiao fans/Mayweather haters really want him to duck the fight instead of actually fighting. Eluding all the obvious facts to come to their own conclusions is unbelievable, absurd and pathetic.

Oh my God. This is so, like you say "absurd" that it is laughable.

thats funny because for years it was the floyd fans who begged manny to speak up and say that he wants to fight floyd. now its we knew it all along already that pac has no say. LOL.. same shiiet different day. just like ost. begged manny for years to accept and when he does, its too late, pac was juicing then thats why he wouldnt agree.

Sorry but you are just trying to protect your Floyd. He said more than that. Floyd is rehashing stuff. When they interview Manny and Arum, all they say is that they are agreeing. Floyd instead continues to talk about PPVs and all that stuff.

Plus, shouldn't Floyd now be happy that Manny is agreeing to everything? Before Floyd would say "We are asking you not your promoter" Now that Manny comes out and responds POSITIVELY, Floyd backtracks!

This is similar to 2012. Manny says that he is willing to give in on 50/50 to get the fight on and then Floyd comes back with $40 million. The only difference is that there is a more serious negotiation this time.

Manny has people negotiating for him and so does Floyd!!!

We can also look at it this way:

Was Pacquaio AT ANY POINT the betting favorite to win this fight?

              The answer is no.

But as you allude to, that's why they fight the fights. Let's hope they finally do! Keep your fingers crossed, buddy.

              • "You agreed?...You have no say!"

So what is Floyd saying here? Is he admitting that Pac agreed to the terms put forth by Floyd and his team? What we need is some clarity from Floyd on what was offered and if those terms were or were not accepted by Pac and his team. Its that simple.

You might be right about that, but in 2009 when Pac came off the Cotto victory I think he might have been a slight favourite. Not sure though.

I am, but we've just been here so many times before. De ja vu!

What, it is absurd to think another fighter is greater than Floyd?

Question Remains, Had He and Pac Fought 5 years ago,
or NOW, would he still have the "0"???
