WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. spoke out publicly for the first time on the ongoing negotiations to make a mega-fight with WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao recently stated, in several interviews, that he agreed to all of the terms - on his side of the negotiations. Bob Arum of Top Rank, who promotes Pacquiao, says his company is also satisfied with the terms.

Based on Mayweather's comments, the fight is not as close as everyone seems to be writing.

There was a vote on this site who greater historically, Pac won by a pretty big margin.

Every poster is biased, you are I am, we're all subjects to subjectivism. Even though we think we are not.

The title of that poll should have been changed to "do you consider yourself a ******* or a *****."

The result would have been the same. Let's be real about it.

It's all opinion sure, but of the sources that we can consider to be credible, do you expect more rankings to list Floyd higher historically or Pac?

The truth is that you won't find many that list Pac ahead of Floyd currently or historically.

So what he said he agreed? what did he agree to anyway? where is this "contract" he's talking about even if there was a contract, how can you prove that this a contract that Arum and Mayweather wrote together and not Arum alone, what if Arum wrote a contract that said that Manny takes 60 and Floyd takes 40? where the **** is the contract and where are the conditions of this contract?!!
Arum has been using his connections in the ***ish community, which happens to be the community that controls the media, to spread lies and keep his fighter relevant on the expense of Floyd Mayweather, he had a lot of fans believe that Floyd is the one who doesn't want to fight Manny without showing any proof of it, he's trying to either get more money than he deserves from the fight or just bash Mayweather to make the people believe than Manny is the good brave guy who's willing to do everything to get the "fans" what they want, they (including Pacquiao) don't give a **** about the fans, they want to make the most money possible and they're trying to put more pressure on Floyd to get it, and Floyd doesn't want to bend to their wills because he is clearly the A side in this.***65279;

Haha that's funny... Rios beating Floyd...

Well I know Floyd has generated a lot of hate, especially on this site, towards himself, which, ofcourse results in subjectivity over objectivity. But still, Floyds way on managing this situation, casts a blurry shadow of mysticism regarding his own will to make the fight.

I mean, on one site you have Arum saying, we've signed everything. On the other site you have Floyd saying it's a lie. One part is lying. I know both parts have agreed to keep quite on the details, but if this fight falls apart, again, the part who told the truth should come forward and expose the contract. Completely back to basics.

No matter what happens, when this fight falls apart AGAIN, in the future when we figure out who held this fight from happening, he better be dead, because the ****storm will be worse than anything we've heard so far about globalwarming.

Are we going to list the opinion's of individuals? I was more so referring to a list that would have to be voted on by more than one person.

But c'mon dude, you have to admit that video is a bit biased. He said that the only excuse coming out of Pac's side for the fight not happening was refusing to take 40 million. How do you just glance over his refusal of drug testing 2 weeks before the fight when 50/50 was offered?

Later he's arguing that Pac should be considered greater because of the way he defeated common boxers. He does realize that Pac is an offensive fighter and Mayweather is more of a defensive fighter, right?

This is very simple for me. Like the video said, they were both active at the same time for a considerable amount of time. What is the reason that you can't find a credible list that has Pac ahead of Mayweather currently?

But I know you are talking about historically, which is a bit tougher since many lists don't include active fighters. Of those I found, I haven't seen one that puts Pac ahead of Mayweather yet.
