Put up a poll of what comes to mind when people first think about Jones, Pac, and Terry Norris and they will not ALL say brutal KO losses are the first thing! I will bet $500 bucks their KO losses are not the very first thing eEVERYONE thinks of. It will be ONE of the things. There is no way in hell when those fighters names come up EVERYONE will first think of the KO losses. You will lose $500, this is certain. Quit while you are behind or I will embarrass you!
Of course not all will agree you show me any poll where 100% agree on anything. If you put up a poll on what people remember first about those fighters Tyson biting Holyfields ear etc would get the most votes.

There's always one moment in any famous persons life that stands out and is most well known and Pacquiao getting KTFO is his.

he did 300k against algeiri which is his last fight, but he wants people to treat him like he sold 1m at the negotiation table. So it is about what he did in his fight. he only did 1/3rd of what floyd did so it matters when youre dealing with millions of dollars.

Regardless, I really don't think most people will think of a brutal ko first when they think of pac. The guy has beaten HOFers Barrera twive, JMM twice, Morales twice, de la hoya, Mosely, Cotto, plus great wins over Ledwaba, Hatton, Bradley, won titles in 8 divisions and 4 lineal titles at 112, 126, 130 and 140. And has been trying to become only fighter ever to win lineal in 5th wt class by fighting pac.
Nah, JMM ko loss won't be first image for most when thinking of this ATG

its funny flowmos bring up when a fighter "leaves" arum as an excuse that "floyd dont do business with arum". They forget that ODH left arum cuz he wanted to start up GBP after his fight with hopkins. Which arum accused ODH of "taking a dive". Cotto didn't leave cuz of a fight with mayweather. Who ever believes that is just a straight dumbass. The main reason for cotto leaving was for him to start a small promotion in PR to bring up puertorican fighters.

I said in another post and I will say it here: if the only thing left is for the networks to negotiate the broadcast rights, Pacquaio shouldn't be demanding that Mayweather sign a contract. Pac should know that the networks have to come to an agreement before anything can be signed.

If what Arum claims is true and the terms have been agreed upon, what Pacquaio is doing is the equivalent of asking someone to pay for a package when the person doesn't know the contents of the package. And, in spite of what the clowns on this site choose to believe, Floyd wouldn't negotiate the terms of a fight if he had no desire to fight Pacquaio.

Therefore, the only thing that makes sense in this situation is that Arum is lying about the terms being agreed upon. Considering his history, that makes perfect sense.

There are alot of factors. It's pro em that fights outside of America get less promotion because not as many media members go to cover it, and as such, pay-per-view numbers are lower. Also, Maidana brings more to the table as an opponent in algeri. for instance, if Mayweather fough algieri in China, and pac fought Maidana in America, the numbers would be very different, & I think most educated boxing insiders acknowledge that

Of course not! Ten years from now, the first thing people will think of when they think of Pacquaio is his great win over Ledwaba!!!!

I think the terms, meaning location, purse split, gloves, weight, date can all be agreed upon even if Showtime and HBO are ironing out the details with regard to broadcast rights.
