An elbow injury has forced the 37-year-old WBA and IBF super-middleweight champion out of his planned March 28 fight against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in Las Vegas.

Froch posted a photograph on social media on Sunday of his gloves hanging up, sparking suggestions of possible retirement.
