    I still think it happens

Because if it doesn't there would be huge backlash for Floyd's next fight

Even his fl0mos can't find a excuse for him

There is no fight if HBO and SHO can't come to an agreement. Also no contracts are drawn up until all parties agree on all points.
So to push the agenda that Floyd needs to sign the contract is bogus, just like Bob Arum stating prior to the Algieri fight that the networks were in agreement regarding broadcasting this fight.
I think HBO would frown on Bob and Manny if they pulled out of this fight after they have taken the time to sit down with Shotime to reach an agreement.
I really hope this fight happens and no one backs out this time around.
      Good post!!!

Manny is following Arum's lead, and as a consequence is causing more problems rather than solving them. I don't know why the Arum side of the equation persist in making statements to the press, instead of making a basic "no comment". It does suggest that Arum's up to his old tricks .... Surprised he hasn't raised the new stadium yet.

I read what I wrote above here at boxing scene, in the forums.

People have been saying Pacquiao and Arum are posturing and lying about signing a contract because a fighter's contract simply cannot exist if HBO and Showtime still have details to iron out regarding the broadcast.

So it is obvious that Floyd Mayweather must be an executive producer at CBS. As for HBO's salary cap, that is a fair assumption to make because as an Executive at Showtime, there is no way on earth he would allow HBO to make any profits from his name.

usually when a fighter mentions deadlines that means the fight is off.

As soon as the reports of "deal is close" went public, we should have known this was doomed. No way Mayweather gives in to a Pacquiao/Top Rank deadline. To me, this ends all hope.

what gloves is Pacquiao going to use? I am pretty sure Mayweather asked for pillow gloves.
