There is no fight if HBO and SHO can't come to an agreement. Also no contracts are drawn up until all parties agree on all points.
So to push the agenda that Floyd needs to sign the contract is bogus, just like Bob Arum stating prior to the Algieri fight that the networks were in agreement regarding broadcasting this fight.
I think HBO would frown on Bob and Manny if they pulled out of this fight after they have taken the time to sit down with Shotime to reach an agreement.
I really hope this fight happens and no one backs out this time around.
    Agreed - End Thread

Yeah Man. Floyd Mayweather won't sign the contract unless the networks agree to give Floyd Mayweather 100% of the sponsor and advertising revenue from The Philippines tv stations

        Guarantee. It's not happening anymore.. Enjoy Floyd-Jotto 2 & Pacquiao-Vargas.

        If were lucky, we get Floyd-Khan & Manny-Canelo or Canelo-Bradley & Manny-Crawford.

Apparently it is more than HBO and Showtime settling their differences. Floyd Mayweather is now an Executive Producer over at Showtime/CBS and he refuses to sign the contract issued to fighters until he is satisfied that HBO agrees to accept a salary cap

A long-awaited showdown between welterweight champions Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao, the two top boxers in the world, has cleared a major hurdle.

Check that article out. It confirms that each fighter can wear their own brand of gloves.

Meeting again within the next couple days according to LA Times but Top Rank/Pacquiao are putting out a full out media blitz to make it seem like Mayweather is the holdup
