Look how much he is making to fight weak opponents? Do we honestly expect to fight for the same amount or less vs Rigondeaux. Yeah it is going to cost more to get him in with Rigondeaux. You're right though because of the Division $3 Million is too much but maybe $1 Million+ is more realistic.

And this is why Haymon has been bad for boxing. If LSC is getting $750k for fighting BUMS of COURSE he's going to ask for a crazy amount to actually fight someone really good. When Stevenson is getting over $2 million for fighting the Suckisky's of the world, of course he's going to want astronomical purses for guys like Pascal, Hopkins and Kovalev. These high paydays for fighting bums artificially inflates their value.

Big fan of LSC I had big hopes for the kid and I think he is very very talented but with all of this BS going on with him I am starting to dislike him myself.

He should definitely get paid more to fight Rigondeaux but not over 3 times more when the money isn't even available.
