I'm not interested in this fight...First of all, Cotto has looked explosive and more confident under Freddie Roach but we really don't know for sure if he has improved because of the quality of his last 2 opponents, especially with the condition Sergio was in.

Also, it would only be historic for Floyd for someone who is blind. The fight would probably be at like 154.1 pounds....They already fought at 154. Floyd won even though he had an off-night, and it wasn't controversial.
Also the only reason holding belts in 3 different weight classes at the same time has only been done once before is because ITS AGAINST THE RULES. But Floyd pays the sanctioning bodies well.

I want this fight to happen probably more than anyone on this site, the build up to the fight would not be epic. It's flat out disappointing that we get Floyd/Cotto II instead of May/Pac and Cotto/Canelo. But that's all it will be is disappointment which we will all forget in 2 months because this has happened countless times already.
