Why cant Canelo fight Pacquiao? Just make a catch weight like Floyd did. .

Manny cant be given a pass to fight another bum just because the Floyd fight falls through. Manny and Canelo would outsell Floyd and Cotto anyday.

Just saying, it looks like Floyd vs Manny wont happen. There has to be a reason Cotto didnt sign to fight Canelo, he makes more money vs Floyd.

Mayweather's people are staying pretty quiet. Cotto's own legal adviser said in more than one interview that Haymon approached them about the rematch. The Mayweather-Pacquiao talks are in the same position where the other talks were. One side agreed to everything and the other side held out until the side that agreed walked away. I have a feeling that Pacquiao's side will also wait until they can't wait any longer and then walk away.

cotto is the champion. he's the one that has to come in over 154 and a limit of 160. mayweather can come in at any weight he wants.

Do you know anything about boxing at all? A 154.5 lb catchweight for the belt means they both have to be between 154-154.5 I cant believe you didn't know something as fundamental as that, either that or you say the most completely unbelievable things in the world if it makes mayweather look like less of a bish than he already is

I dont really like watching canelo i think hes boring doesnt throw punches.. but if its mayweather cotto 2 id watch a solo boxeo fight instead.. but u do have to admire canelo for acting like a boss demanding lara not waiting around to see what pacquiao or mayweather do or who they fight.. boxing stops to wait around for these two .. they have boxing in a choke hold either fight each other or retire..

Cotto only got 8 million last time against Floyd, there's no way he would get that much this time due to declining ppv sales and the floydcott which will be in full effect. Being A side against canelo would have paid him alot more. He declined because he thinks he will lose and then his stock will drop whereas a loss to mayweather wont be a big deal because he already got beaten soundly by him. Lets call mayweather vs cotto what it is, two scared fighters and a cherry pick for Floyd because he easily beat cotto last time. It wont sell half as much this time though. I do agree if Floyd ducks Manny then Manny should fight canelo and go head to head with Floyd cotto on the may date. He would embarrass Floyd and get his ppv crown back. I think they will do that as a matter of fact.
