He voted for Wilder? Despite the tattoo on his arm?

Who knows what's running through that cross dressers head at these times.
    You didn't silence me.

I just agree that with all the modern day nutrition and training and human evolution, Wilder's 7 years of boxing experience would beat a prime ali by KO in the first round.

You can deny many things. Modern day nutrition just isn't one of them.

They didn't have protein shakes in the 70s. FACT!

I think that a prime Ali would be to fast for the more inexperienced wilder plus lets not forget that Ali had no shortage of power either. Would be a good fight though for however long it would last.

Deontay Wilder is faster than Ali. The only time Ali was faster than Wilder, he weighed around 200lbs and would be knocked straight out. Any Ali of a competitive weight, was a slow plodding overweight!

Muhammad Ali is the most featherfisted champ and among the most featherfisted boxers that ever lived.. "No shortage of power"?

Please show us a single instance where Ali was "powerful"??

Yeah...like that part time golf hustler from South Africa did...oh wait...
And the very dangerous Corrie Sanders is comparable to a bum-busting cruiser like Ali and the others how exactly?

HOW is Ali the greatest champ? Who did he fight who was worth a dime? His best win opponent was Geroge Foreman, who would be a massive underdog himself against Wilder. Wilder IS wet behind the ears, but if he lined up 20 cruisers like Ali he would still knock every single one of them straight out.

The only reason this would be interesting is because Wilder is 3 inches taller. That is quite a bit, but reasonable enough that I think prime Ali would easily outbox Wilder.

From the comments here, it doesn't seem like many people here have actually seen Ali fight in his prime. Those ESPN classics, rumble in the jungle, thrilla in manilla where past his prime.

Ali that beat Liston, Wilder would not be hitting Ali at all. That version of Ali, was a HW SRR. That version of Ali had the greatest footwork of any HW in history. Wilder would get exhausted just after a few rounds of chasing Ali.

OK Elroy, watch this video and tell us again how Ali had no defense:

Ali's REAL prime was in the 70's. The 60's Ali being prime was a sham.

Only in the 70's did he fight somewhat decent opposition (Foreman, Norton, Frazier etc). And only a 70's Ali was strong enough, hefty enough to be comparable to a modern HW and only a 70's Ali had enough experience to be mention-worthy.

Ali of the 60's never once faced a decent opponent (the best was Liston who he never convincingly beat anyway and who was a notorious bum-buster, cruiser-cruncher).

The so called prime Ali was inexperienced (both in total and with hardly any 200+ experience at all!) and barely weighed 200lbs. He is not comparable to any modern HW or any veteran champion boxer.

Most importantly, Ali "prime" struggled with many of his early opponents too. Doug Jones beat him, Henry Cooper near knocked him out, many other boxers were able to hit him at will as soon as they were in range. Prime Ali was a runner! No runner has ever been successful in HW boxing for 30 years and counting!

                  Myth exposed!

Prime Ali was 1974.. His best opponent, the best combination of athleticism, size and experience Ali ever had, the best overall package.

And it is a disgusting insult to lower Wilder to this level.

Did you put that demonstration video together to try and save your old mate did you?

Muhammad wasn't even in range for all but like 1 or 2 shots.

The Muhammad Ali "prime" defence was based upon 2 things...

HEIGHT advantage + SPEED advantage. The 2 things combined enabled him to land on his opponent and be safely on the edge out of range of his slower, smaller opponents.

He was also good at controlling distance, like any champion boxer.

REFLEXES, had nothing to do with it! They didn't call him Muhammad Zero for nothing!

You can see from many of those old fights, that as soon as these slower, smaller fighters were able to come within range of Ali/Clay, they hit him at will and easily and I AM talking prime Ali from start to finish of first career.

Also, look at the opponent he is fighting too, who would Ali fight at world level today who would stand there are hit at him like that? Get real!

Speed advantage? Why would Ali not use an advantage like that, if he had it? Why would you criticize a fighter for using an advantage? It's not Ali's fault he was faster than his opponents.
