If Canelo and Oscar intended to fight GGG they would've talked the hell out of it. GGG is ready to rock. Canelo is in his prime. They fight on the same network. But the reason it has not happened and they rarely whisper his name is because they will NEVER ever fight GGG.

GGG would end Canelo.

What? They haven't mentioned his name because they were busy trying to get the Diva in the ring. Also GGG has a fight in February and as much a favorite as GGG is, he can lose, win but take a beating, or suffer an injury in the fight.
With the possibility of that happening, Canelo would look at another opponent for his spring fight. GGG could be a good option in the fall though.
