Australia let the US win some medals at swimming lately because we had other interests...

    Like drinking!

All the best Aussie swimmers are busy getting pissed at the moment. So your lucky!

You guys think this is a really clever argument and your motive isn't painfully obvious...? duhhhh
first thing. boxing historically is very much tied into football and basketball. ken norton, foreman, Tex Cobb, earnie shavers. the list goes on. all played football.............so no you just can't go and get "50 random guys off the street" they won't be as athletic as guys in the NBA & NFL. it's not about arguing just stating a point.

There isn't an American man alive that could beat Wladimir Klitschko or Tyson Fury. American athletes are awful and have been since the late 90's

Boxing? Only good boxer is Floyd, and he's retiring soon. Dominated by Europe
Tennis? Haven't been relevant since the late 90s, dominated by Europe
        Golf? Dominated by Europe
Motorsport? American's can't even drive Manual. Dominated by Europe
Cricket? humiliated in the 1800's by the English and embraced baseball instead
Football? never won anything of note, dominated by Europe
Rugby? NFL athletes are too out of shape to play it and would require body armour

Here's the thing though bojangles, do you want to deny the best Russian/British etc athletes don't box?

I don't know why this argument makes so much sense to US posters but when you apply it to other countries their ears close like it doesn't exist.

I swear they're just bouncy-ball, helmet-bashing fans gassed up on their other heroes.

Do US posters think Dereck Chisora and Tyson Fury are the best athletes out of the UK? Are Povetkin and Ustinov the best athletes out of Russia? hell no

Newsflash: boxing isn't a dominant sport anywhere, most often you're just not going to get the best athletes of any nation in the sport

Seffie Mitchell proved NFL'ers can't take a punch, as has Wilder when he got dropped vs fat guys. Fact.

The world's best athletes are playing soccer. No American would be considered in P4P rankings if they let them soccer boys loose.

Mitchell's chin is just as bad as Wlad's, the problem is he's not 6'6.

                Jennings, Wilder, even Stiverne/Lewis lmao

Boxing is not a big sport there. It's a much smaller and poorer country.

If South Africa had the same population and resources as the USA, they'd dominate the HW division obviously.

Fat Yanks tend to dominate when they're the only ones competing.

The NFL guys joined the UFC as well, they were all fat, out of shape, super stiff and had unbelievably fragile chins. If they can't make it in the UFC, then how can anyone expect these D level "athletes" to make it in a real sport like Boxing?

Now I know you're just a fool. Mitchell has an all-time bad chin. Football players have glass jaws.

Lewis was glass jawed. Wilder is glass jawed. Stiverne was hurt vs Arreola. Jennings also has been shaky vs bad opposition. Polish coal miner Adamek has a better chin than all of them.
