In my opinion this has been the worst era of HWs for at least the last 40-50 years. Ali fought and excelled in a much tougher era. IMO He would beat all of them easily. He would call the round on most of them. Most wouldn't be fit for sparring.

Sanders - would KO Ali in 1 or 2
Williamson - Ali would be busted up
      Castillo - Fair decent fight
Peter - Would KO Ali in 1 or 2
Byrd - Would box Ali to a wide UD
      Brock - Would KO Ali
      Austin - Would KO Ali
Brewster - Would KO Ali in 1 or 2
Ibragimov - Would KO Ali in 1 or 2
Thompson - Would outbox and then KO Ali
Old Rahman - Would KO Ali
Chagaev - Would soundly outbox and hurt Ali
Chambers - Would box Ali to a wide UD
Peter- Would KO Ali in 1 or 2
Haye - Would crush Ali in seconds
Mormeck - Fairly good fight. Mormeck would be favourite
Thompson- Would outbox and then KO Ali
      Wach- Would KO Ali
      Pianeta- Would KO Ali
Povetkin- Would KO Ali in 1 or 2
      Leapai- Would KO Ali

      I commented individually.

You can make a case that Ali would lose against every single one of them, most of them by KO.

To be fair, he might snatch the occasional win against one of the weaker opponents.

Klitschko has probably the greatest resume of any HW boxer and Muhammad Ali an unusually weak resume for the time for a champion.

Conversely, Wladimir Klitschko would thoroughly outbox and knockout every single Muhammad Ali opponent straight up.

      There is no comparison.

Todays bums... Would have been yesterdays champs...

And yesterdays champs... Would today be tomato cans!!

      Fact!

That was embarrassing to read Leroy.

Pianeta and Leapai score KO's over Ali?

          Oh really?

Tell me who Muhammad Ali's 5 best wins were then??

Of the 54 Muhammad Ali opponents, Klitschko would not even be ALLOWED to knock HALF of them out! So much for a "tough era".

Actually Muhammad Ali would be next to useless as a modern day sparring partner, there are heavy bags with better reflexes

The only reason anybody considers Ali vs Klitschko is because "heavyweight" was defined differently then.

The correct comparison is "Muhammad Ali vs Marco Huck"

In which case I would still argue for Huck. But atleast you will be on the right track then!

                Joe Frazier highlight

                Alex Leapai highlight

Every imaginable stat shows Leapai is better than Frazier.

And the video comparison is conclusive, cannot be mistaken by ay woman or school child.

Considering Muhammad lost to and struggled with Frazier, the idea he could NOT get KOed by a Super-Frazier like Leapai- is a bit far fetched!

And obviously Muhammad Ali never once fought an opponent as big and strong as Pianeta. And the only ones who came closest were neither anywhere near as skilled or as conditioned! Despite Pianetas inflated record, it's still approximately 5x better than any Ali opponent.

And these guys are the WORST Klitschko opponents? That's good!

The objective reader knows how to separate fact from fiction.

                Just remember we're comparing THIS...

                To bloody THIS...

Boxers evolve as time goes on. Klitschko is the ultimate heavyweight.

Most of Klitschko's better opponents and even some of his poorer ones would have beaten Ali and steamrolled through the 60's and 70's HW scene.

                    Everybody know it. It's a no-brainer.
