Cotto isn't being a diva, everyone is waiting on what happens between Floyd and Pac. And if they fight, it's gonna be on May 2nd. Canelo though is beasting to get his fight with Cotto done asap for that date. That's the problem Cotto isn't going to agree to that fight and date until the big fight gets resolved. Oscar is just sucking Canelo off cuz he's all he's got left. It's sad he's now talking like this as if he doesn't know the deal.

They have already said that if Mayweather and Pacquiao indeed gets made they'd move the fight date. Not a big deal. The important thing was to get the fight signed. They agreed to everything Cotto wanted, and Cotto still b!tch out.
Cotto has a history of being difficult to deal with.

Canelo and Cotto are a level below Pac and Floyd. It is what it is. Pac and Floyd will have to settle their business before others can resume theirs.

I'm thinking Mayweather v Pacquiao is a lock, for May 2nd, and Canelo is just trying to save face. A bout with Cotto is his only way of competing for the May date; with that in mind, he wouldn't walk away from the negotiations if the possibility to compete was still in existence.

It's obvious that this is a bluff from canelo and Oscar. Trying to get cotto agree to May 2nd before manny and floyd are official. Or cotto is waiting for floyd and pax negotiations to fall thru and Floyd gets to fight cotto.

I dont think it is like that just because Arum is negotiating both the Cotto-Canelo fight and Pac-May fight. Do you honestly think Top Rank would schedule a fight on the same date. If the Cotto Canelo fight is signed then thats what matters. Even if May-Pac happens, im sure they can just reschedule fights

Here's the thing, cotto signs off for May 2nd in Vegas or Texas. If then have to move to a later date it'll be in June and still in Vegas and Texas. And cotto isn't with that. He will fight on the west coast in May for the Mexican Holliday but if that can't be done and they fighting in June, then Canelo gonna have to bring his ass to New York for the PR Parade weekend. I think that's what's the problem. Could be wrong but that's what I think.

It's obvious cotto is waiting to see if Floyd PAC falls through and whether Floyd wants rematch.

But Canelo and Oscar are "too good" to wait for the guy that beat them aka Floyd.
