That version of Hopkins vs that Toney I see....

    Hopkins by ko

    Better overall fighter

Toney would sometimes throw shots wild and Hopkins would capitalise

      Toney, easy.

Bernard is an all time great fighter, but Toney at his best was something special.

The idea that anybody stops James Toney is hilarious tbh, his chin was beyond iron. The guy fought and beat massive HW's ffs.

There is no way Hopkins is stopping Toney.

Toney wins easily in a 9-3 type of fight I think

            Honestly believe Hopkins easily

            More physical fighter

And with those versions he would throw more and win

And the bhop that fought Tito was possessed by victory. No way he would lose to the Toney that fought nunn.

            No doubt in my mind

In fact I would go as far to say that bhop puts every fighter whose best division was middleweight in history in a hospital bed and if that Middleweight is named hagler, bhop would be in the bed right next to him

Have to go with Toney. Hard to see how Hopkins would shut down or confuse a guy with that range of tools. And Nunn was a tougher style for Toney than Tito was for B-Hop too.

When Toney fought Nunn, he was a 22 year old kid, and was losing the first 6-7 rounds easy to Nunn before he came on and broke him down and stopped Nunn. I see Bernard stealing alot of rounds from that version of Toney and winning a decision, but Nard couldn't have stopped him with a bat -(hell Hopkins didn't come close to stopping Keith Holmes and tried like hell to stop a shot William Joppy due to a bet he made and still couldn't do it).

Now the version of Toney that beat McCallum, I'd pick him to beat Nard. At that point he was more complete and had a better overall arsenal than Nard. I'd pick that version of Toney over the Tito-Nard clear UD.
