no you are wrong. those were different times when lewis and tyson fought and under completely different management and leadership. that is clearly poor business practice to gamble like that and the new people in charge know this (even if they believe pac has a very good chance of winning they know in boxing anything can happen). HBO wants to make guaranteed the most money they can from this huge event and i say absolutely good for them they have that right.

Amazing how HBO wants to change a agreement they already had before but that's not a roadblock. Or the dumbass mention that HBO gets higher ratings than Showtime when they have a 25% higher viewership. But won't mention Showtime has murder HBO on PPV where they completely even it's quite funny.

Showtime needs to make up for all the money they've lost with floyds deal. They can't afford to split profits with HBO.

Believe me when I tell u that they are more interested in carrying a floyd/Cotto card all by themselves instead of splitting $ with HBO for Floyd/Pac. Problem is, they can't afford to pay Cotto what he wants on top of floyds guarantee.

Because TR has a c working relationship with HBO. BUT, Manny doesn't have an exclusive contract with HBO the way Floyd does with SHO. Therefore Floyd HAS to fight on SHO. Manny PREFERS fighting on HBO.
