You could sign this fight already and make plans for May 2nd. If Mayweather/Pacquiao actually gets made, (which lets be honest there is no guarantee that it will happen) then you move the date to June.

Again if the fight was signed today, the only thing that would really start is the promotional tour. Serious training would probably not start until Mid February. By then you will know if the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight is signed. If it is you move the date and your training schedule for June.

If the fight doesn't get made, you go about your training for May 2nd.
