Leapai, Pulev, Mormeck, Pianeta, 70yr old dementia sufferer Shannon Briggs and Wladimir defenders have the nerve to tear apart the ''bum of the month tour''?

Do not get me wrong, I am a fan of Wladimir but WTF is he doing wasting his final years fighting these total bums? Fight Fury then Jennings and top the year off with the Stiverne vs Wilder winner!

I hope it goes through. I want to watch it just to see Briggs get blasted. He needs to learn the hard lesson that, if you want to fight for a belt, be a good fighter.

If you win against quality opponents, you eventually become the mandatory challenger. Acting like a fool and a panhandler for a fight shouldn't be rewarded at all. But if it is, it should be rewarded with a beating.

These guys would rather make money as unbeaten sideshows than get derailed like haye and pov

yea,,,,at least with the above mentioned guys there were either mandatories or there seemed to be no better options at the time but there's no excuse this time around to fight a guy like briggs who is obviously washed up. there's fury,,,Jennings or even lucas browne who'd all be a step over briggs

Briggs knows he'll get a beating all he cares about is the money. He shouldn't get what he wants he doesn't deserve it.

I'm with you, man. It just rubs me. Wlad is one of the least objectively viewed fighters of all time. He definitely isn't the GOAT, but he'd be in the Top 10 of any generation, maybe Top 5. And I really want to see him take out MY frustration on Briggs the same way Wilder taught Zelenoff a little bit of a lesson. But you're on point, there are 20 other HWs that are more deserving of a fight.

I'd pick Holyfield over Briggs if they fought tomorrow.

                      Yeah.

This is almost as bad as the Tyson - Stiverne fight Don King is ranting about.

I don't see how people can try to make a case for this fight being ok, this is worse than Pianeta, Wach and Leapai.

PS: I think one can make a case for Wlad being a top 10 ATG at HW , but top 5 ... not even close imo.
