What makes you guys think Manny Pacquiao is entitled to 80 million dollars when he cant even do 500k PPV buys? He's going to get a payday of his career off of Mayweather's name. I'd give that dude 60 mil and take 140 mil. He wouldn't see that kind of money in 3 fights. Mayweather made 70 mil off one damn fight. I wouldn't let this Filipino get rich off my name.

No that's impossible. In order for there to be a contract for the fight, all major terms have to be in the fight. One of the major terms is the network the fight will appear on. U can't get a contract without that being agreed upon. **** Cotto and Canelo couldn't even work out a deal over ****ing beer sponsors. This is just basic ****.

Floyds contract should include how the network will share promotion expense/profit, who would do the main event and who would do the replay and so on? that is just basic?

Real simple, Mayweather most likely does close to 3 million PPV buys with Pacquiao and somewhere around 8-900,000 without him.

Floyd can have a contract with Manny for a fight on May 2....no Showtime/HBO deal necessary yet...

HBO/Showtime can make up a new contract to go along with the Manny-Floyd contract...

Manny agreed to the terms Floyd's camp proposed in the counteroffer... Floyd's camp is taking their time trying to negotiate with Cotto..

Floyd is ducking Manny for at least the 3rd time if not the 4th time...

Manny's side claims they are done and have agreed...no reason not to make the negotiations public now UNLESS Floyd is trying to add additional conditions... which is what will continue to happen over and over again and Floyd will repeat how it was a great offer, etc... but then fight Cotto or Khan for not even half the money...
