It's basically consensus among......well, everyone, that you need a strong jab to beat Mayweather.

My stance was never that Cotto is a southpaw. It's that Cotto is a lefty. And he is.

    "Cotto isn't a lefty"

    "Yes he is"

    End of story.
Ok this is getting totally off topic, its pointless debating with someone who just makes stuff up as he goes along bottom line is Manny is going to give mayweather the most trouble hes ever had and i think as do many others that Manny will win and i gave good reasons why

LOL @ "making stuff up". Especially in a thread where people are saying Cotto isn't left handed.

Whatever you say, man. I think Manny gives him problems, too. Never said otherwise.

Even Floyds father is putting the pressure on him. Floyd must be curled up in a closet sweating and farting staring at the contract while screaming, crying and pulling on his taffy ****

The Ones that are patiently waiting on Jr to agree to the contract is US , the Ones that pay the money that make them both RICH but more especially JR.

          Where is he at ?

IF he finds some ridiculous excuse to get out of the fight, he will be the Laughing stock of casual boxing and be known as the FRAUD that Cherry Picked his way to the top only to find PAC ALREADY THERE , waiting, waiting , waiting, so

You know no more about the happenings of the negotiation process than the next guy.

You're a typical product of when someone believes everything they hear. Don't feel bad though, you're not alone.

But it needs to get done first, mayweather and Espinoza need to quit messing around and just get the damn thing done. If either fighter wins there should be no excuses they are the number 1 and 2 p4p fighters and both have declined at about the same amount. Mayweather cannot handle the workrate and akwardness of pacquiao. Also mayweather has tough time against in and out fighters like cotto and de la Hoya. Also southpaw fighters like zav Judah. Pacquiao is levels above those 3 and dominated de la Hoya and cotto and has more speed, power, workrate, footwork, and defense and also has akward angles. Brandon Rios just said he thought he was fighting an octopus. Mammy should clearly be favored, but its ok hes been the underdog before which makes it that much sweeter when he wins

Floyd has trouble with in n out fighters wrong! Fighters who have a good jab he has trouble with, in n out fighters get picked apart. Cottos success came from working from his jab and changing his approach (adjusting).

You have no clue how to analyze Pac just regurgitated Bscene typical comments
              -"pac has awkward angles doe"
In all reality, Pacs gonna get tore up on the inside bcuz thats where Pacs weakness lies and floyds strengths will play a major part...look forward to similar tactics from Floyd against hatton

of course floyd SR wants the fight.

trainers get 10%, generally. 10% of multi millions is a lot of money! i doublt floyd pays him 10%, but the guy certainly ain't going hungry.

this fight is CLOSE to being made imo.

let's not forget here that professional boxing is business not a sport.

both fighters, the promoters and the networks who control them make more money with this than ANY other fight out there in the foreseeable future.

that more than anything else is the deciding factor.

                  leave them to it.

I would just like to see the look on Oscar & Cindanelo's face right about now!!!!!! All this May 2 is my day & we ain't moving for Floyd to fight on a Mexican Holiday crap seems to have crashed & burned!!!!! Where y'all at Canelo/Oscar?????? Who you fighting on May 2 Canelo?????? Have you come down from off that pile of crap Oscar put you on, making you think you were something other than a C- Level fighter? Every since talk of this fight happening people haven't mention Canelo or even thought about him..... Goes to show you that GBP was really Richard's baby & Oscar was nothing more then a figure head.

It would. All the best fighters in their respective divisions eventually fought at one point or another, but one of the few times where that didn't happen that i can remember off the top of my head, was the Roy Jones Jr./ Dariousk Michaelcheski fight, because he didn't want to step foot in the states, and wanted to hold that WBO belt hostage.
