Floyd Mayweather Sr., father and trainer for WBC/WBA welterweight and junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., hopes the mega-fight will happen with WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao.

There are ongoing negotiations to make Mayweather-Pacquiao on May 2nd from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Reportedly the two fighters have already agreed on several important items, including a monetary split of 60-40 in favor of Mayweather.

Well make your son agree to the damn terms that he already laid out, Espinoza is already making it seem like mayweather will fight someone else on may 2nd according to his interview on the ring website. Damn shame, arum Manny and HBO are trying hard and Espinoza and mayweather are running. While you have arum and kontz and HBO president moretti saying things like we've agreed to the terms and we want the fight and enough is enough and were not going to give up and let them off the hook, Espinoza and company are saying things like theres a long way to go and we cant speak on the fight but mayweather will fight may 2nd regardless of opponent. Its obvious who doesn't want the fight, even mayweathers dad is saying it will be crazy if it doesn't happen. Hes said it in the oast too.
